For the Holiday 2019 Collection, Lucia Pica found inspiration in one of Gabrielle Chanel’s particular – and perhaps unexpected – penchants: her love of ornaments. After all, while Mademoiselle Chanel famously pioneered a “less is more” approach to elegance, she was equally fascinated by aesthetic opulence: by the deep lacquer of Chinese Coromandel screens, or the shimmering gold leaf that decorated her apartment. Now her paradoxical proclivities are reflected through LES ORNEMENTS DE CHANEL, which showcases festive grandeur for the modern age.

It’s been a year since my favourite fashion house changed its image and ceased to be a real fashion oracle. Thankfully, there are worthy successors such as Jil Sander, Peter Do or Bottega Veneta. Despite the huge rasy of Phoebe Philo aesthetic, there is only one original for sure and I am still hunting for the old CÉLINE pieces. One of my favourtie sources for Philo pieces is a polish store called Sassy Suede. Madame boots are not a dream anymore. 
I always thought that the ruffled dress is not my cup of tea. I'm one of those girls who love oversized clothes with clean lines and sharp cuts. In my closet you can find a lot of simple dresses, but this one from Toteme is a real gem. That unique piece of silk is the most feminine dress, that I have ever worn before. How to wear such a dress everyday? The last time I paired it with leather boots to get a more powerful, but still such a feminine look.
